Aleksandra Smoliniec
Accounting Assistant
I was born in Poland, where I spent over 10 years of my childhood. In 2014 my parents made the decision to move to London, where I've lived ever since and finished secondary school.
At first I wanted to be an early education teacher, then at college I did an A-Level in Business Studies and Economics. The course touched on accounting and I found it really interesting. At the same time I started helping my father in his business with some of his financial admin. Therefore, after finishing A-Levels I began to look into apprenticeships in accounting and came across Co-.
I considered doing a degree in Accounting but I realised I wanted to get practical experience rather than do theoretical study. In fact I am doing both as the apprenticeship includes studying for AAT.
My hobbies include cooking and baking, as well as listening to true crime podcasts. I also have a cat named Gustaw.
