Co-’s New Director
It’s 2025 and Co- Accounting has a new Director! As Steph takes the reins from Damion, she takes stock on her journey with Co- and shares her hopes for the years ahead.
When Damion and the team approached me in September about leading Co-, I was truly humbled. Just 18 months ago, I saw the job advert for a Growth Specialist, and this small but mighty business has already given me incredible opportunities, both professionally and personally. As I embark on this new chapter as Director I feel excitement and ambition for what the future holds.

It didn’t happen by chance, and it’s something I’m extremely grateful for. Our talented team and established systems are a solid platform for our future growth.

The vision for Co- is simple yet powerful. We want to see the business community in South London (and beyond) thrive. That’s why we go beyond the basics offered by traditional accounting firms. It’s also why we put at the heart of our service empathetic support to help you understand and navigate your journey as a business owner. We’ve made huge strides in the last 12 months and there’s lots more we’d like to achieve.
Accounts and Tax is our most important function. Continuing to upgrade what we offer and staying abreast of changing technologies will remain a vital part of our road map. Here are some of our key projects. There are planned changes to P11D that we need to help business owners prepare for. We know a client portal (for secure document sharing) will benefit us and clients. We plan to enhance the presentation of our tax planning advice to deliver greater impact and value to our clients.
Our Business Support services are what make Co- different. They spark our excitement and passion for business, and we’ve got big ambitions for our future road map. In the near term, expect to see new workshop topics and a second version of the Business Health Check Tool. In the longer term, our hope is to build what we offer into a recognised methodology for business growth - one that remains affordable, practical, and based on your latest numbers.
The original big vision for Co- South London was for it to be the practice from which others are seeded. Exactly when and how that happens is still to be decided - but as we move closer to reaching capacity at Co- South London, we can start to see that point of expansion on the horizon. For now, our focus is on the team. We have a new accountant joining in January, and with the change in Directorship, there is a lot to embed!
