Dext Invoice Fetch

We are now starting to roll out Invoice Fetch, a Dext feature that has the potential to save your business a lot of time. In this blog provide some details on how this will work for South London Businesses.

What is Invoice fetch?

Invoice Fetch is a system that allows Dext to connect to your suppliers and automatically pull invoices into the system on a weekly basis. This will then mean that you don’t need to regularly upload some supplier invoices. Potentially there is a significant time saving, therefore.

There is a limit to the connections, Dext has a list of all the suppliers that Invoice Fetch will work for and this will grow as the demand for other suppliers increases.

You can see the full list here.

How does it work?

Invoice Fetch works by establishing a connection between Dext and your supplier account using your login details. Some suppliers such as Amazon require a 2-step-authentication in order to effectively work.

Once a connection is established Dext will pull in any historic invoices from a set date to the account and will then check for invoices on a weekly basis moving forward.

What do you need to do?

We are going to start working on connecting accounts that we have access to for clients. As part of the setup, we will ask you to set up some accounts and the process is relatively straightforward to do so.

If you are doing your own bookkeeping and wish to set this up we are happy to support you to do so. You can follow the below guide or book into one of the training sessions we have scheduled.

You can follow this guide in order to establish the connection if you do not wish to join one of the sessions.

Training to support you.

We will be offering some training for clients so that you can understand how the system works. Get your questions answered and see how the system can be used to full effect.

If you would like to join this training you can book this below.
