We hope what follows is a useful list of things to tell us:

Financial SYSTEMS and bookkeeping

Systems and bookkeeping are the foundation of all of our work, please do let us know about:

  • New Bank Accounts

  • New Banking Facilities (Eg PayPal, Wise)

  • New Credit Cards

  • Xero Integrations (if you connect another application to Xero)

  • New Supplier Accounts (for buying on credit)

  • New Loans or Finance Agreements

  • If you start to Import or Export

  • New points of contact for queries

PAYE & CIS

Your Payroll manager will need to know about:

  • New Employees

  • Employees leaving

  • New Employee Benefits

  • Statutory Pay or Leave (Maternity, Paternity, Sick Pay etc)

  • New CIS Subcontractors

other taxes

Please also tell us if any of the following come up:

  • You register for any new taxes: Eg PAYE, VAT, CIS

  • You make any changes to existing schemes: Eg changing VAT scheme

  • Penalty letters from HMRC

  • Payment plans with HMRC (so we can make sure no penalties are incorrectly applied on late payments of taxes)

  • New streams of personal income (Eg a new job or investment)

Company secretarial and admin

Here we need to know about:

  • Changes to shareholdings

  • New and resigning Directors

  • Changes of address (whether registered, business or personal)
