I spent my childhood in Kielce, a small town in Poland, before moving to Krakow and beginning my studies at the University of Economics.
During a gap year, I came to London for a few months and that was it; I fell in love with the variety and pace of life. After graduating in 2007, I came straight back to the city and began my career in administration before taking the leap into accounting—a path I’ve loved ever since.
But my heart has always belonged to the wider world as well. From a fascinating internship in Beijing to living and working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia—the city where I married my husband, Daniel—my life has been shaped by the cultures of Asia. After our time in Malaysia, we returned to London where our family grew; our son, Oliver, was born in 2012, followed by our daughter, Julia, in 2017. They keep us incredibly busy and were at the heart of our London life for many years.
After 20 beautiful years in London, 2024 brought a significant and emotional crossroads. It was a massive decision, filled with many bittersweet moments, to leave the city that had been my home for two decades. I chose to return to my roots to be closer to my family, and we now live in South Poland, in Katowice.
While the transition from London was a journey of its own, being back in Poland has brought a beautiful sense of balance to our lives, and we are embracing this new chapter together as a family.
