How much S455 Tax will I pay on my overdrawn Director’s Loan Account?

S455 Tax is paid on a % of the lower of two figures:

  • The balance owed by the Director to the company at the financial year end

  • The balance owed by the Director to the company 9 months after the year end

S455 Tax has historically been linked to the Higher Rate of Dividend Tax currently 35.75%.*
