What is the Profit and Loss?

The Profit and Loss is a report that shows Revenue minus Expenditure for a period of time.

An analogy for the Profit and Loss is that it is a record of all the sales and purchasing in business over a certain period.

If revenue is greater than expenditure we will see a Profit. If it is less we see a Loss.
