Sandra Aguila Guedes

Accountant

Born and raised in Cuba, I graduated with a degree in French Language and Literature before embarking on a career that has taken me across continents and industries, from the United Nations in Geneva to International forums across Europe and the Americas. I have always had a passion for numbers, so when I joined a very small tour operator in London as a travel consultant, I soon became the person who dealt with the admin, bookkeeping, accounts and eventually the Finance Director of a then 7-million turnover business with 50+ employees.

I ventured into the hospitality industry too, opening my own restaurant in Crystal Palace in 2012, and a boutique hotel in Havana in 2019. However, it had always been a dream to become a qualified accountant, so when the opportunity came to join Co- I was beyond excited. I am completing my AAT qualification and couldn't do it without the supportive environment of the Co- family.

Now based in Dulwich with my husband and 2 children, we love travelling and experiencing new cultures. Our recent adventure to the Sahara desert being one of the most memorable. When I'm not working, or travelling, you'll find me exercising, cooking, meeting friends or dancing salsa.
